Miami Micro Data, Inc. has Project Management Tools that will change the outcome of your projects
Often in a major Construction Project or Programs, multiple Sub-Projects, span Project Updates. In Zümmer, these Sub Projects are identified as “Level 2 Projects”.
In this environment, Global Activity Codes are often used to construct Activity Codes intended to be use across multiple Projects. In Ƶümmer, the Level 2 Project Module allows the Scheduler to easily produce reports that can group Projects for a given Global Code Item assigned to this module.
To use the Level 2 Project Module, a Global Activity in the P6 System must first be assigned to the Level 2 Project Module. To do this, access the Code Assignment Window from the Settings Main Menu option.

Click on the Level 2 Project pull-down menu to display and to select the Global Activity Code Item that is used to list “Level 2 Project” items. The Pull-Down Menu displays all Global Activity Codes in the P6 System. It is not necessary for the Global Change Item description to be named “Level 2 Project”. For example, “Sub-Project” or “Minor Project” is often used in the Project environment.
Once the Global Activity Code is selected, the Level 2 Project Module is ready for use. This setting is saved for all Level 2 Projects printing in future Zümmer session until changed by the user.
In the illustration below, the Level 2 Project Module is displayed. The Project ID Pull Down Menu allows you to select the Project to be considered when a Level 2 Project report(s) is Printed or Previewed. The Project ID Pull Down menu lists all the Projects that have activities assigned a Global Activity Code Items from the Global Activity Code assigned for the Issues Module.
